Biography

Dr. Tariq Yousuf completed his residency at the University of Illinois Chicago. He received advanced training in general and interventional cardiology at Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Yousuf has published over 20 articles in peer-review journals demonstrating his drive to practice evidence based medicine and to acquire cutting edge information to help heal his patients. In addition, he has won several research awards and even participated in Cardiology jeopardy competitions on the state and national level.

James Frame, MD

Dr. James E. Frame serves as Chief Medical Officer at Sherman Medical Center and is a board-certified emergency medicine physician currently practicing in the emergency department. In addition to his medical career, Dr. Frame is also a licensed attorney practicing law in Collin and Grayson Counties. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Frame has specialized in managing complex medical, psychiatric, and addiction-related emergencies. From 2002 to 2006, he led the Emergency Department at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago, where he oversaw trauma care, addiction withdrawal management, and psychiatric crisis intervention. In 2005, he was recognized by the Chicago Fire Department for his leadership in psychiatric emergency response and addiction medicine. His service as a U.S. Air Force Senior Flight Surgeon included oversight of psychiatric evaluations and fitness-for-duty assessments. At Sherman Medical Center, Dr. Frame plays an integral role in coordinating psychiatric evaluations and treatment in collaboration with the Texoma Community Center, Sherman Police Department, and Grayson County Jail. He provides medical guidance to law enforcement and mental health professionals, emphasizing the critical connection between medical and psychiatric conditions. His patient-centered approach focuses on medication adherence, outpatient counseling, and rehabilitation-based care to support long-term recovery, stability, and successful reintegration into the community.
